Let's Cook: Spicy Shrimp and Sardines Fettuccine Aglio Olio

Hello Lovies!

It has been awhile since I posted about my cooking. I was too buy with many things that I had not even updated this blog for quite some time. Well, I just want to start this post by saying that I hope you all had a blessed Holy Week. As for me and my family, we just stayed at home and enjoyed quite and restful time. Especially myself, that I need to catch on my sleeping hours.

Since today is Good Friday and the "no meat" religious practice is still very much observed by all Catholics, I cooked this simple pasta dish -- Spicy Shrimp and Sardines Fettuccine Aglio Olio

Disclaimer: The recipes that you are about to read and follow are all prepared, cooked and eaten by myself and my family. I did not go to a culinary class. My cooking skills are 100% genetic. I rarely measure my ingredients, but they are pretty damned close to the exact recipes I have read in cookbooks and internet sites. I use ingredients that are available to me. There is no guarantee that your cooking will come out tasting like what I made. If you make something here that you are not completely satisfied, feel free to post here and rant your complains, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Lines from the Book: The Girl on the Train

Hollowness: that I understand. The holes in your life are permanent. You have to outgrow them, like tree roots around concrete; You mold yourself through the gaps. All these things, I know, but I don't say them out loud, not now.

I have never understood how people can blithely disregard the damage they do by following their hearts.
There’s nothing so painful, so corrosive, as suspicion.
I have never understood how people can blithely disregard the damage they do by following their hearts. Who was it said that following your heart is a good thing? It is pure egotism, a selfishness to conquer all.
“When did you become so weak?” I don’t know. I don’t know where that strength went, I don’t remember losing it. I think that over time it got chipped away, bit by bit, by life, by the living of it.
Being the other woman is a huge turn-on, there’s no point denying it: you’re the one he can’t help but betray his wife for, even though he loves her. That’s just how irresistible you are.

Welcome to My Workplace

Hello wonderful readers!

I'm still feeling under the weather as of this writing, but I just don't want to put a gap on my blog posts. I even have not finished plotting my March blog calendar yet (geez!). I just hope that my energy will be restored in the next coming days as I have soooo many things to do.

Alright-ty...let's get this on! For this post, allow me to share my workplace. Yep, I want to talk about my office building and tour you around inside. Are you ready?

Our office is located at BGC Taguig on the 19th floor of Tower Two Uptown Mall. We moved here last December 2015 from our first office at SM Aura.
This is what the building looks like outside.

Staycation Escapade at Armada Hotel

Last February 26th was the 18th birthday of my eldest daughter, Mary Gabrielle or Gabie as we fondly call her. We did not have the usual cotillion party and lavish preparation. We decided to have a staycation instead at Armada Hotel. Here is our short but sweet escapade.

Armada Hotel is located at the heart of Ermita, Manila. We booked for the Deluxe room with 2 queen-sized beds for the duration of 3 days 2 nights accommodation.

Our Victoria Aveyard's Book Signing Experience: #VictoriaAveyardinPH

Hello there, Lovies!

Well, first of all, I am sorry for not blogged since last week. I have been caught up with office work like our month end reports, the arrival of my CEO from New York and the 18th birthday of my eldest -- Gabie. In my planner, I did swear that I am going to blog on these happenings, unfortunately, I got sick during the end of the week and my brain cells are not really cooperating in finding the words to write a blog. Oh well, these are all under the bridge now and I am starting this week with positive vibes! So, to start with, allow me to share to all of you our book signing experience yesterday.
