Your NSO Certificate Delivered At Your Door

Everything is now accessible when you have internet connection. From shopping online, food delivery, and even your NSO certificate delivered at your door.

Last February 27, 2013, my daughter Gabie texted me that she needs a copy of her birth certificate (NSO copy) to comply with graduation requirements. Being far from her and negating the thought of asking my Nanay for help in getting a copy, I ran to my computer and searched for the online services of NSO Birth Certificates.

3-Easy Steps

The webpage have 3-easy steps to follow:

Step 1: Application 

I entered my name as the person who requested for the birth certificate. Then I entered the birth data of Gabie. They will also be asking for the place where you want it delivered. I specified in the application that it will be delivered to the province so that I will no longer send it separately.

Step 2: Payment

After you have finished everything, you will now pay the for the requested document. As you can see below, the document requested can be delivered not only in the Philippines but also to other countries. Of course, variation to the payment will entail.

So, I paid for my document thru BDO bank at Php315. That was also done on same date I applied online. If you have credit card, no need to go out and pay over the counter. 

Step 3: Delivery

Once payment has been processed, they will send you an email regarding your transaction and the estimated time of delivery of the said document.

They were able to receive the document March 8, 2013. That's 6 working days since I made payment. Not bad, right? The service is indeed time-saving and very appropriate for those who are not able to go directly to City Hall or NSO offices.

Aside from online, NSO services are also available in some malls within the Metro.

Oh Summer! How I Miss You So Much...

Take out the summer hats, don that summer dress and trot the beach like there's no tomorrow....

Yep. Summertime is just around the corner and everybody is getting ready and excited for hot humid days, a splash on the beach, lounging by the pool, trying out daring water sports, getting drunk, looking at the most beautiful sunsets or waking up to the most inspiring sunrise.

Dream on! I'm not really a beach bum, but this time, I really love to go back to my hometown and experience this kind of summer. And where is that you say? Roxas City, Capiz!

It's almost eight months since I left the place and I am terribly missing the sights, sounds, and food of the Seafood Capital of the Philippines.

Miggy's Immunization Schedule

We went out to see Miggy's Pediatrician yesterday for his scheduled immunization. It's his 2nd shot of Pentaxim (Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, and Polio Myelitis). Last month, he had Rotateq oral vaccination for Rotavirus. He's 2 months and 18 days today. He's grown so fast and I feel that a little bit heavier too.

 We arrived at Cardinal Santos Hospital around 9:30 AM. While waiting for our turn, the big sister is busy playing with the big calculator and weighing scale. As if she's computing the things around her.

Echoserang Bata! 

And it's confirmed! He gained weight over the month. He is now 6.9 kgs. Almost a kilo was added to his previous weight.

Father-daughter time.

Yes, I cut my hair short. Miggy keeps on pulling and tagging it so I decided to cut it short. And of course, just getting ready for the summer season.

Meet the Doc!

 Meet Miggy's lovely and elegant Pediatrician - Dr. Angel Aquino Gonzales. No, she's not a showbiz personality, although you might get an inkling feeling that she's one because of her almost silver screen name and flawless face. But she does numerous TV guestings already for "Mars" where she gives advises and answers questions pertaining to medicine in general and most especially infant and children care.

The Birth of Echoserang Bata

Day 78: My Last Day With You

Tomorrow, I'm back to work. 

I will miss our daily routine together. 

I will miss your cuddly cheeks and sweet smell of innocence. 

I still want to spend more time with you, my adorable one.

Our Chef's Noodle Experience

I'm not a food blogger. I don't take photos my food before eating it (well, sometimes). But I will not pass this moment when we recently visited Robinson's Magnolia and tried Chef's Noodle restaurant.

Before you get disappointed reading this post and not see much of the pictures of the place or their food menu, I must explain that with two tots in tow, the photos I took are not that savvy. Just enough to document our visit. Plus, you have to try and visit the place and taste the food of course to experience them yourselves.

Our Orders

Since it was already past lunchtime when we reached the place, hubby and I ordered 5 dishes (imagine how hungry we were!). There dishes are enough for two persons and the price is very affordable. We tried their famous Chef's Noodle (noodles, tamago, sprouts, fried tofu, jun-ya, kuchai, beef broth), Don Kas (breaded fried pork fillet), Leek Shrimp Twigim (fried kutchai battered in special blend of buthai shrimp mix), Kimbap (Nori-rice wrapped rolls with Korean ham, radish, cucumber , and egg), and their very own signature sushi the Starking Fire Sushi. With the last one, you get to choose from three types of meat -- tuna, beef, or chicken on top of the Japanese rice. The presentation is quite revealing since it will be torched in front of you before you eat it. Sadly, I was not able to get a photo of it.

And the price? All of these plus drinks, we paid at Php700+ only (may take home pa!). Will definitely go back. :)
